JHS Baseball

Joplin High School Baseball has a rich heritage of success and looks forward each year to continuing that tradition. Joplin Baseball boasts 11 Conference titles and 8 district titles. Since 1994, five trips to the final four have resulted in: 1994 runner up; 1995 runner up; 2000 4th place; 2001 State Champions and 2003 runner up. Numerous athletes have moved on to play at the collegiate level, with a few going on to the majors.

Tryouts & Season
Baseball season is in the spring with tryouts in late February. The season culminates with district and state play in early June. Joplin Baseball is willing to travel and plays a tough schedule each year. The team travels to Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, and the St. Louis area to find teams to play.

Facilities
Baseball home games are played on the brand new, all turf baseball field at Joplin High School.

Summer Camps
Summer camp opportunities are offered for 9th – 12th grades as well as the players assisting with elementary and middle school camps.
